Yesterday was our 2 Year LID anniversary...and YES we are still waiting! We can hardly believe it's been two years. We started this journey in January 2006 and after six very long months of getting our paperwork together, authorizing it by the Secretary of the State and then having it approved by the Chinese Consulates office we sent our Dossier to China and it was Logged in on July 11, 2006! It was a WONDERFUL day! We felt like we were one step closer.
Referrals continue to arrive each month and this month was no different. Many beautiful girls are matched to families who have gone before us and who will soon be with their forever families. We are still in the process and aren't going anywhere. In our hearts we too have been matched to our daughter "Jadyn Nicole" and we will continue to wait for the day we receive that wonderful call informing us that she's here!
