Jadyn Nicole's 1st Birthday!!!

January 16, 2011 our beautiful daughter was brought into this world. We are forever thankful that God has blessed us to be her parents. Today we celebrated with our wonderful family and amazing friends. Jadyn was overwhelmed by all of the love she received. As special as the day was I couldn't stop thinking about her biological mother and how she must feel not being able to share this day with her baby. I pray that God gives her piece and I wish there was a way for me to comfort her. Jadyn has a forever family and we love her more than life itself.

Home for the holidays!

Ms. Jadyn Nicole is HOME for Christmas and it feels oh soooo GOOD!! This Christmas we are thankful for the blessings GOD has placed in our lives. Kyle, Aaron and Jadyn are doing great and have given Kent and I more joy than we could ever imagine.

Aaron and Jadyn's Parent Child Dedication

Last weekend, December 11th we had the babies dedication at church. Kent and I have been waiting a long time for this day and we were beyond excited. This was an emotional day and a day full of excitement. We have been so blessed with all three of our children! Kyle has been very active in church and we can proudly say he is God's son. He is so proud to be a Christian and will witness to anyone who will listen. We pray that both of the babies will grow up to love Christ just as much as their big brother does. Jadyn is now 11 months and Aaron is 13 months.

Life is GOOD!

The kiddos are doing great. Kyle is amazing with both of the babies and they absolutely love him. Jadyn and Aaron have taken a little more time, but are adjusting. This week while Kyle was in school I ventured out with the babies and took them to the pumpkin patch. Neither of them really understood what was going on, but I had fun. Tomorrow we are off to have Jadyn's nine month pictures taken.

Our final days in Guangzhou

The day before we headed to Hong Kong we were scheduled to visit the American Consulate office to complete the final portion of the adoption. Several of the families we traveled with where scheduled on the same day. Below are two of the families we were blessed to meet along our journey.
Below is the family picture Nana took just before meeting with the American Consultate's office. I wish Aaron could have been there with us!Kent, Kyle, Jadyn and I took a trip to the Guangzhou Zoo, which I would highly recommend. This was the best zoo we have ever been to. Kyle and Jadyn were fantastic and as you can see Jadyn was styling and profiling. I will post more pictures later.

We finally made it home on Friday, September 30th and it feels soooo good to be home with Aaron. We thoroughly enjoyed China, but being away from Aaron was extremely hard on Kent and I. Love to all and we will update everyone very soon.

Guangzhou Medical Exam

We were scheduled for Jadyn's medical exam on our second day in Guangzhou. I think I was just as nervous as she was. We made it through and I was so happy. Jadyn is doing great. She is a wonderful little girl and a true blessing to our lives.

This wonderful family was in Nanchang with us and had met there beautiful daughter on the same day we did. God has blessed us all in so many ways. Love to all!!

It's offical!!!

On the 19th of September a day after our Gotcha Day the documents were signed and Jadyn Nicole Smith officially became our daughter and that was the best feeling in the world. Once we get her passport we are on our way to Guangzhou for her medical exam and Visa and then we will be on our way home. We love and miss you all!!

We are beyond excited about finally being united with Jadyn. She is a beautiful baby girl and a true gift from GOD!

Beijing was a blast!!!

Our first three days in China were spent in Beijing. We visited the Summer Palace, Forbidden City, Heaven's Temple and the Great Wall of course. These were all amazing places and our guide was the best. We all fell in love with Beijing, but ready to be with Jadyn.
